Breast Cancer & the Non-Toxic Revolution:

Please click to watch this 2 minute video I found. See how you can easily CHOOSE to reduce &/or eliminate your 365 days per year exposure to toxic synthetic chemicals found in household products, as well as other environmental & lifestyle choices, which is thought to be the leading cause of Breast Cancer, asthma, other breathing problems, & so many more dis-eases.

My mother-in-law is a Breast Cancer survivor. I have been following a green path for nearly 12 year, if not more, since becoming a mother. This video explains, exactly, why I joined with OnlyGreen (closed in June 2012) shortly after finding & researching their products & ingredients. They are 100% Natural, Safe, Eco Friendly, & Biodegradable. Free from synthetics, fragrances, dyes, and hormone disrupting ingredients.  I will also admit that I signed up purely to get a discount and shop from home, but it didn’t take long to start making green by going green.

Join the non-toxic revolution!

I would like to thank www.GoodGirlGoneGreen.com for her post. Check out her website. Originally, I found a post she made about “No-Pooing” (eliminating shampoo) & have been hooked on her posts since. Enjoy!

In light of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I wanted to remind you about OG’s partnership with the Canadian Breast Cancer Support Fund (OG is no longer in business) to provide a financial subsidy for breast cancer patients who cannot afford to purchase a wig.

Soy wax candles are completely non-toxic, unlike paraffin wax based candles which emit 11 toxins according to the American Lung Association, 2 of which are known carcinogens. Our candles are made with 100% non-GMO soy and have a burning time of more than 40 hours.

Please, leave a comment below & join my facebook group to let me know what you think. Thanks & have a Green day, Everyday =)

What’s on your fruits and Veggies?

Last year we wrote a blog post about the importance of properly washing your fruits and veggies. With our Garden Essentials sale this month, plus an update of The Environmental Working Group published list of the good and the bad in produce, we figured it was time for this info to be revisited! Green Living Tips to $ave money, time, & the Environment.

I am always looking for ways to $ave money while Going Green & it’s my job helping others do it to. It’s very rewarding for the Environment, our homes, our pockets, and for all Earthlings alike.

I have a list of several websites that I’ve come across with so many more tips and trick than I could compile in a list, yet. So I thought I’d highlight a few great ones and post links to their websites as well before I add them to my page for “$ave Green” here on my own site. Enjoy the savings!
